Kimberley’s Blog: Crazy packed week

Hey team,

I have definitely had a week to remember that is for sure. I am currently on the couch in my comfy clothes by the fire watching Marco Polo as I look back at the past week I can’t help but smile.

The week kicked off with a trip to Phoenix to see my friend Rickie Fowler in the PGA tournament. This was my first time at a proper golf event. I absolutely loved it. The Phoenix stop is known to be the most crazy and rowdy stop on the golf tour and since it fell on the same weekend as the super bowl in Phoenix, I would imagine this was the loudest PGA stop to date.

Katie and I got involved in the Super Bowl action too – Unfortunately the Seahawks didn’t win in the end but the atmosphere in the city was electric. There was so much excitement in the air and even for me, someone who knows very little about football, I felt myself getting bitten by the bug and I can now admit I am totally hooked.

Next, was a quick stop over in LA, a few auditions and a flight to New Zealand (I covered a lot of miles in just a few days). My best friend Albie was getting married. It was the most perfect day and I am so happy for her. I haven’t been to that many weddings in my life so it was an honour to be by her side and celebrate with her. It was nice to be back home for a couple of days. I miss New Zealand so much when I am gone, especially my family. So even though I was only home for two days, it was 100% worth it.

Now back in LA and three auditions later I am honestly shattered in the best possible way. I feel like I have experienced so many wonderful things this week and seen people achieve great things on the world stage and in front of families and friends. Feeling very blessed and overwhelmed.

I hope you have all had a wonderful week.
