Hey team,
Hope you are all having a good week so far!
It has been a fun filled week for me. The perfect balance between work and play.
I was lucky enough to hang out with Blair and Pete, two amazing kiwis who were passing through LA to head to compete on the world stage in the UK for sailing, and Jesse who came over to hang out and give me a few surfing tips and shooting lessons, which were definitely the highlights of my week. I found the shooting at the shooting range a lot more challenging than I had originally thought it would be. Let’s just say I need a few more trips to the gym and some protein shakes before I get behind an armed gun again. I was surprisingly not scared of the gun, as I thought I might have been, it was just the power in it that took me by surprise. I have been on a few auditions now which require you to have a basic understanding of shooting a gun (ho to aim etc) so I wanted to at least have experienced this in a safe environment so I knew how to hold it and get a good aim.
Another highlight this week was attending the Kings of Leon concert. I remember seeing them live a few years ago and loving their performance and their LA gig was much the same. I only wish I was more familiar with their new album so I could join the excited crowd and sing every song at the top of my lungs. If you ever get the chance to see them perform, you won’t be disappointed.
I hope you all get to tune in to Cadbury Dream Factory tonight! It is a great episode, filled with a stampede of Hollywood’s favourites and unicorns! This episode is a real crowd pleaser!
