Took this photo when I was up in Beverly Hills yesterday. I really love being there – everything is so clean and pretty – it feels like the “Hollywood†you see in the movies and I love it.
I have been a busy bee with some exciting projects, and learning my lines for my upcoming auditions.
I had my favourite class last night. The teacher always gives us these amazing homework assignments that get you thinking. The first was the challenge to “be exceptionalâ€. She spoke about how if you are the second best brain surgeon you are a millionaire and if you are the second best computer technician you are also a millionaire, but if you are the second best actor at an audition…. You are broke. So be the BEST, be exceptional.
I really liked this message, I think what she was saying is true in any field, that we should all strive to be absolutely amazing and to not settle for anything less!
Our next bit of homework is to go somewhere that makes you happy and stay there for an hour. But it can’t be somewhere you go anyway.. it has to be a trip to a place… so I think I am going to try and go to a pet shelter, or perhaps to the beach… where will you go??
The idea behind these weekly activities is to help us find balance in our busy lives and to take time out to really get to know ourselves and what it is that makes us tick….
