My good friend Ali and I were fortunate enough to attend the WONKA Movie Premier in Hollywood yesterday.
It is always such a trip to see the elaborate carpets, venue, decorations and just the buzz of being in a cinema with the cast and crew that have made something magical.
The film exceeded my expectations. Musicals aren’t for everyone yet Wonka manages to impress with great dance numbers, a heartfelt story and wonderful comedic moments peppered throughout.
Ali and I spent the last 10 minutes of the film holding hands crying and melting!
The best part of the film is the feeling you are left with, ‘it’s not about the chocolate, it’s about who you share it with”
The after party was a playground of candy! You could make your own snow globes, friendship bracelets, Oompa Lumpa candy floss and take home as many sweets as you could carry.
All in all a fantastic event and magical film. 10/10 recommend.
