Flavour: Flatbread topping ideas with Huntley & Palmers

With the festive season and summer fast approaching it’s time to think about nibbles that you can serve along with a cheeky glass of wine during a girls night out!

Huntley & Palmers recently sent me two new flavours from their Flatbread family. The newbies Caramelised Onion and Sesame, Cumin & Coriander join Mixed Herbs, Cracked Pepper & Rock Salt and Toasted Sesame flavours.

I had a bit of a play and thought I’d share with you three of my must try topping options. Check them out below PLUS find out how you can be in to WIN!

Let’s get savoury!

Mozzarella, tomatoes and basil are a trio that I am a huge fan of. For my first savoury option I sliced buffalo mozzarella (a little more pricey than the traditional mozzarella but oh so good) and added sliced tomato and torn basil. Tip: Add a little salt and pepper.

I adore cheese and brie is one of my favourites. I sliced the brie and added sliced chorizo to the Huntley and Palmers Sesame, Cumin and Coriander Flatbread. Oh and a little BBQ sauce never hurt anyone so drizzle a little bit to complete this one.

Sweet for my sweet…

I’m all about something a little sweet and who isn’t a fan of chocolate and strawberries! Spread a little nutella on a Huntley & Palmers Toasted Sesame Flatbread. Add a couple of slices of strawberry and chopped walnuts. If you want to add a little something extra add a tiny bit of basil.

  1. on flatbread, nothing beats sauted mushrooms with a thin slice of tomato and some mozzarella or swiss cheese – pop under the broiler to melt the cheese and yum!
