Check out all of our May faves!

Happy May! As the cold sets in, we check out the sights of an island getaway, new music from Anne-Marie and the latest Marvel flick that has the world talking – Avengers: Infinity War.

Music: Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie has just delighted fans with release of her much-anticipated debut album, Speak Your Mind. The impressive 17-track record includes her previous hits, Ciao Adios, Alarmand Rockabyewith Clean Bandit. Following on from the huge response to pop anthem, FRIENDSwith Marshmello and recent release, 2002, co-written by Ed Sheeran – Speak Your Mindshowcases Anne-Marie’s well-earned place in the pop music world.

Travel: Sicily
Ever dreamed of visiting the picturesque Italy? Make sure you add the largest Mediterranean island, Sicily, fittingly at the ‘toe’of Italy to your list. Take in the landscape with guided tours plus the culture and cuisine surrounded by the sparkling ocean. I’ve been in full day dream mode scrolling through Instagram looking at the magical sights on the @sicilia_nel_cuore page.

Book: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck
As the Winter season begins to set in, rainy weekends mean more excuses to stay inside, cosy up and get your read on. While Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Lifeisn’t a new release, the rave reviews keep on coming. I’ve had this recommended to me by family and friends (as well as online posts!) and it’s no wonder that the ‘in-your-face’guide is a New York Times #1 bestseller.

Film: Avengers – Infinity War
This blockbuster has one of the biggest all-star casts I’ve ever seen. The very highly-anticipated new Marvel flick, Avengers: Infinity Warhas finally hit cinemas this past week. I don’t remember the last time I sat in a sold-out cinema that was so quiet because the audience was too busy taking in every eye-opening sequence – (obvious spoiler alert: it was good!) So get your snacks ready and be prepared for three hours of action with your favourite Marvel characters.

Quote: Carrie Fisher

The late Carrie Fisher shared these wise words (pictured with daughter Billie Lourd).
“Don’t slide through life. Savour it. Slow down, be kind, pay attention. Because this isn’t going to happen again.
