I am going to dedicate my 40 hours next weekend for the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to being of service. 40 hours of good deeds!
If you would like to contribute to my fundraising or have a good deed, or an idea for a good deed I can do please let me know. All proceeds for this years 40 Hour Challenge go to help restore forests and fight the impacts of climate change using an approach called Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration. Led by local communities, it’s a simple technique that taps into existing root networks to regrow trees.
For kids in Timor-Leste, who’ve lost 90% of their original forests, this would be a total game changer. As trees grow, they suck carbon dioxide from our atmosphere, lower temperatures, and can reduce the effects of storms and droughts.
