A few good vibe Monday selfies! 📸

I feel like pretty much everyone I know is fighting or working to push away the bad November vibes that are looming. It’s been a big year—a lot of good, but also a very stressful year for so many. Work pivots, money stresses, and the anticipation of the holidays can sometimes make the pressure to be celebratory and ‘good’ feel more tense and overwhelming. 😅

I wanted to share a few of my wins this week as I’m working hard (like many) to focus on the good moments in each day:

I got an in-person acting audition this week!

I’m not sharing this to brag or rub it in for anyone who’d kill for an in-person audition, but to offer some hope. Our industry has gone through so much—COVID, strikes, and massive changes—that I thought in-person auditions might never come back. But here we are! It was for a comedy, and it was bloody awesome and fun. I’m hoping this is a sign of more fun, creative projects getting back up and running! 🎬

I treated myself to my oat milk iced matcha.

This little luxury makes me feel fancy, so LA, and also like a hug on the inside. 🍵

Tom and I have a good meeting scheduled next week!

It’s one we’ve been waiting for, and I’m so excited about it. @  @

My sister has a great quote: “Opportunity only dances with those already on the dance floor.”

I think about it a lot these days, especially when it feels easier to just not put yourself out there, not reach out to people, or not take the time to prioritize a project that’s important to you. This quote gives me that kick in the butt to keep moving forward, taking small steps toward the bigger goals.

I hope if you’re having a case of the ‘Novembers,’ you find some inspiration to keep going, take care of yourself, and hold on to hope!

X ❤️
