Best-selling author Florence Given (of Women Don’t Owe You Pretty), is this month releasing her new book Women Living Deliciously. Florence’s new piece of writing is set to ‘help women uncover their sense of awe and wonder that has been buried by the layers of shame and self-objectification that get piled on us by the patriarchy’. The new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Downunder is on its way (premiering next week!) and has a little bit of a makeover, in the form of Michelle Visage taking the hosting reins for the latest series. What to eat: Late Night Art
A bit of a different ‘what to eat’ this month as Auckland’s Art Week (running from now until the 13th) is on which features a bunch of different activations and events, including Late Night Art on October 10th that features performances, immersive installations, local artist stalls and galleries open late.
