🧡 International Day of the Girl 🧡

Sip and Support 11/10/2024

On Friday we launched our first project under the Pretty Tall umbrella by hosting an event with Tickled Pink and World Vision

We also were incredibly privileged to have hypnotherapist Bec share an intro to hypnotherapy and how to calm our nervous system and the Girls Skate team who do amazing work in instilling young kiwi girls with confidence taught us a few tricks on the skateboards.

We shared our 14 min short doco about our time in Uganda visiting our sponsor child Jacquline and the work we want to do to help get 1000 Girls sponsored to help fight back against gender inequality and child marriage.

To the almost 70 women who attended today … THANK YOU 🙏 thank you for your support, your energy and your enthusiasm!

Thank you to the incredible brands who also contributed to the fantastic goodie bags 🫶 and to the staff at Akarana who pumped out so many epic coffees! And to the Nosy Parker team who captured the event in the best way 🧡

International Day of the Girl deserves to be celebrated and we are so glad to have spent it together this morning 🫶

The goal is to get 1000 girls sponsored and thanks to today we are on our way!

Please check out the doco or share it to your community if you can, awareness is the first step in helping these young women.
