Our Fave Beauty Products Under $30

Join us as we highlight a couple of our fave drug store beauty items – and better yet, they’re all under $30!

From nail polish to nose strips and non-permanent hair colour (for the upcoming summer festival season!) – check out some of our fave beauty picks.

OPI Iceland Collection
O.P.I’s extensive nail colour range just got even bigger. The Iceland collection features twelve new shades inspired by the ‘magical land of blue lagoons and Northern Lights.’ From strong dark polishes to pastels and glitter, there is something for every day and mood. It’s hard to choose a favourite, but I loved trying out the pink-nude called ‘I’ll Have a Gin & Tectonic. The range is available in Farmers and selected pharmacies, RRP $19.95.

L’Oreal Colorista
Okay, I’ll admit, I’ve tried and failed at doing those hair chalks one too many times so when L’Oreal announced their new product range, it was definitely exciting. The Colorista range features sprays (that last about one wash) to pastel pastes that will have you looking fresh all week. There’s a bleach too to help out the dark haired gals. These are perfect for the upcoming festival season (I personally can vouch for the pink!) and are seriously affordable – plus if you decide you want to wash it out earlier, L’Oreal have got you covered with a Shampoo Eraser. RRP$9.99 to $19.99.

Biore Charcoal Nose Strips

Blackheads can be such a pain but Biore’s Charcoal Nose Strips are here to save the day. I also love using the other products in their range – the charcoal self-heating one minute mask and their forehead strips are always in my cabinet – Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell swears by them for a reason! Ranges from $8.50 – $14.50 in supermarkets and pharmacies.

Tangle Teezer
I can’t believe I went through my entire long-haired life without one of these beauties! Whether you go for the original size, brush size or the aqua version, you’ll be sure you don’t leave home without it – seriously, they’re travel size and that’s always appreciated. They’re available from $27.95 at hair salons, Farmers and pharmacies.

Maybelline Volume Mascara
The amount of mascara varieties on the market is pretty extensive, but this is one of my favourites from the drug store brands. Maybelline’s ‘The Colossal, Go Extreme’ leather black mascara is always in my bag and has an epic wand to it to make your lashes pop! Grab it from The Warehouse for $22.

Nivea Day Cream
Nivea is a brand with a great range, one of my faves is the Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream for Sensitive Skin. It has a thick texture which means you don’t need much and has the benefit of being SPF30+. This one works great for my skin, but there are many different options depending on what you’re after in their range including one with aloe vera and ocean minerals. RRP$12.99.

Simple Facial Wipes
Anyone that wears make-up can relate to how good it feels to wipe it off at the end of the day and Simple’s range of wipes are here to help you in any situation. This brand’s sensitive skins products will have you sorted whether you grab some of their ‘kind to skin’ cleansing facial wipes or eye makeup remover pads, they’ll be a handy addition to your bathroom cabinet (or handbag with their travel size packs!). Pick them up for around $9.
