Kimberley’s Blog: Retro & Engaging

Hey team,

WOW the two words to describe the week that has been would be Retro and Engaging.

Kicking it off with Wango Tango – what I would describe as the perfect festival day out, you have top 40 artists playing their biggest four or five tracks with a quick turnaround till the next big artist takes the stage. Seven hours of solid entertainment at a world class level, a passionate crowd, safe environment and perfect weather – Wango Tango could not be faulted. It helped being four rows from the front and feeling so close to the action.

Check out this video of Jason Derulo killing it on stage and some of our photos from the day further down the page.

It has been a photo shoot kind of week too. A good friend has started a business called Trash Bag Diaries and Katie and I modeled some of her latest gear that you can buy via their Facebook page. We had a great time at the shoot. I am not a great thrift shop buyer as I can’t always visualise how I could combine some key pieces, with Linzy’s help we found some great looks and we had so much fun playing dresses ups!

The second shoot was for an upcoming story that I cant share too much about at this stage. I did have the Victoria Secret make-up and hair team working on me! This was definitely a pinch myself moment, I felt in very safe hands and loved the looks they came up with, definitely different from my usual look. Can’t wait to show it to you all.

I also filmed a new Q and A – you can check it out now.

This week I am filming for our class assignment and filming for The Erin Simpson Show!

Hope you all have a good one, stay safe and bream big!
